‘I have been in talk therapy and 12 step meetings for 3 years when I realised I was running rings
around myself, my therapist and my sponsor. I had an overwhelming sense of desperation that
nothing would ever change and I was stuck being who I was. I believed I had exhausted all the
traditional modes of recovery when I heard about breath work therapy.
From the very first session I experienced a sense of hope and gained a feeling of confidence that I
have never felt before. By using two simple breathing techniques I slowly learnt to set my feelings and
emotional reactions free rather than judge them and keep them festering in self -destructive behavior.
It’s properly hard to describe such a powerful journey in words but I have finally found a safe place
where I am grounded to grow and I strongly recommend anyone who is contemplating breath work to
