Being the season of renewal and change, why not become clear on the things that may be holding you back, causing you stress, cluttering your mind or sapping your energy.

The world we live in today is full of external stimulants and noise so we need to consciously take action to ensure our internal world has space for quiet and calm. We can’t change what is going on around us, but we can take steps for an internal peace.

* For todays practice I would like you to begin by sitting in a quiet place & taking a few deep breaths. Does your breath feel free and flowing or is it stagnant and rigid? Whatever it is, refrain from judgement, just let it be….

* I now want you to set an intention to ‘ Experience an internal quiet, to be fully present and to be willing….’

* I am a real fan of putting pen to paper as a way of expressing whats going on inside. Journaling allows you to download the inner chatter, helps you to clarify your thoughts and feelings, connects you to your inner voice, reduces stress, tracks patterns and limiting beliefs and ultimately helps you to get to know yourself better.

Sometimes specific questions can help to probe your unconsciousness and other times all you need is to free flow with your writing. Both have their values.

Here are a list of questions you can ask yourself. Don’t ponder on any question too long. The key is to let the answers come from within and not to get caught up in your intellectual mind. If a question is taking you a long time to answer, it may not resonate or be necessary at this time.

*How am I feeling?
*What do I need more of right now?
*What is standing in my way of this?
*What am I constantly putting off?
*Why am I procrastinating?
*Where is the resistance? Where is it being stored in my body?
*What do I need in order to move forward with this?
*What are my core limiting beliefs?
*What do I want more of in my life?
*What makes me feel calm, relaxed and peaceful? How can I achieve more of this?
*What changes am I willing to make in order to get what i want?

Journaling helps you to explore different parts of yourself that may be lying dormant.
Some people prefer to express themselves through illustration. I welcome you to also do drawings, doodles, charts & mandala’s in your Journal…
Remember, when we challenge old patterns, we actually make room for new more positive things to come into our lives.
